MoreGreen Charcoal Making Machine
MoreGreen charcoal making machine can be used for dry distillation and oxygen-free carbonization of carbonaceous wood materials (coconut shell, wood chips, rice husks, palm kernels, plant straws, other biomass materials, etc.) under high temperature conditions in the furnace, and finally obtain charcoal and wood tar, wood vinegar and a variety of combustible gases.
MoreGreen uses the most advanced high-temperature and high-pressure carbonization technology to recover the combustible gas generated in the charcoal making process for heating the carbonization furnace, which not only saves energy but also protects the environment. The waste heat generated during the carbonization process can also be recycled for drying moisture in raw materials.
Biomass refers to various organisms produced by photosynthesis and is a natural energy carrier that converts solar energy into chemical energy for storage.
The biomass to energy industry has excellent prospects because biomass is the fourth largest energy source after coal, oil and natural gas, with an annual global production of about 170 billion tons. Biomass energy has the advantages of clean, renewable, and no carbon dioxide emissions. Unlike renewable resources such as solar energy and wind energy, biomass energy has low requirements on the production environment and is widely distributed, enabling large-scale production. However, it should be noted that the biomass material has a low carbon content, a low energy density, a high oxygen content, and a large number of volatile components, which requires further treatment to become a biomass energy source for us to use.
At present, there are three main sources of biomass, namely forestry, agriculture, and organic waste. If these biomass are not properly handled, it will produce a lot of greenhouse gases, harmful fumes, and harmful leachate, which will pollute the soil, groundwater, and the atmosphere.
Forestry Biomass
Agricultural Biomass
Waste Biomass
Biomass carbonization plants, also known as biomass charcoal making machines or charcoal making machines, can convert biomass into energy. Common biomass materials used for carbonization generally refer to carbon-containing wood materials, such as coconut shells, wood chips, rice husks, palm kernels, plant straws, and the like. These materials are very common, easy to collect and have high economic value after being charred.
Since 2012, global biomass supply has maintained an average annual growth rate of 4.5%, which will be maintained until 2035, when it is expected to supply 450 billion tons of biomass worldwide. Obviously, the sooner you invest in a charcoal making machine, the more energy and benefits you will get.
Biomass carbonization technology refers to the process of heating chopped or shaped biomass raw materials in an anaerobic or low-oxygen environment to decompose carbon-containing organic biomass into charcoal, wood tar, wood vinegar, and non-condensable combustible gases.
When the biomass is carbonized using the MoreGreen charcoal making machine, the heat source equipment is first turned on to heat the carbonizer furnace to the temperature required for charring. At this time, the biomass feedstock is sent to the inner cylinder of the carbonization machine for drying by using a spiral quantitative conveyor, and then the raw material enters the high temperature zone of the outer cylinder (450 ° C - 900 ° C) for pyrolysis and carbonization to form charcoal, wood tar, wood vinegar, and non-condensable combustible gases. After the charcoal is cooled by the cooling device, it can be packaged and stored; the wood tar and the wood vinegar are recovered by the recycling device; the non-condensable combustible gases are purified by the dust separator and recovered for combustion to heat the carbonization furnace. The carbonization machine uses a variable frequency adjustable speed motor to adjust the cylinder speed to control the carbonization temperature and carbonization time of the biomass material.
Charcoal Making Machine Working Processes
When the carbonization machine starts to work, the shredder is simultaneously started to shred the biomass into finely divided raw materials of uniform size (generally ≤ 3 cm). The finely divided raw materials are fed into the dryer through the crawler to dry the moisture to less than 10%, and then the dried raw materials are carbonized by entering the carbonization machine. The high-temperature exhaust gas generated by the carbonization machine combustion chamber enters the dryer through the pipeline to dry the raw materials, and then enters the dust collector and the filter for treatment and discharge.
When the carbonization machine begins to stably generate non-condensable combustible gases and high-temperature exhaust gas, the heat required for the carbonization process and the raw material drying process can be completely self-sufficient, which will save a lot of fuel and realize intelligent low-cost continuous production.
It should be noted that in the process of transporting charcoal, the charcoal will be in full contact with the air. Even if the carbon has a cooling temperature of only 50-80 degrees and there is no open flame on the surface, there may be sparks inside it, which may spontaneously ignite. Therefore, it is necessary to put it for 8 hours or install a mist spray equipment to cool the produced charcoal twice, completely eliminating the fire source and ensuring safety.
MoreGreen can customize charcoal making equipment to your needs, which usually depends on the quality of your biomass feedstock. If they are bulky and contain a lot of moisture, it is best to have a shredder and dryer to ensure the quality of the product produced by charring.
